BARAMULLA: Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) on Sunday have arrested 02 Drug Peddlers in Baramulla district and recovered psychotropic substance from their possession.
As per the Police, a Police party of PS Tangmarg under the supervision of SDPO Tangmarg Imtiaz Ahmed-JKPS during routine patrolling at Ferozpora Tangmarg intercepted 02 suspicious persons who tried to flee from the spot on seeing the police party but were apprehended tactfully.

During search, 48 tablets of SpasmoProxyvon Plus and 75 tablets of Alprox were recovered from their possession. They have been identified as Waseem Ahmad Dar son of Mohd Sultan Dar resident of Watalpora and Javid Mohiuddin Bhat son of Gh Mohiuddin Bhat resident of Allahpora Karhama.
They have been shifted to police station where they remain in custody. Accordingly, a case under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station (PS) Tangmarg and further investigation has been initiated.
