Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) on Thursday organized a Tiranga March as part of ongoing series of events under the theme, “Meri Maati Mera Desh – Mitti ko Naman, Veeron ko Vandan” from Sports Stadium Doda to Police Station (PS) Doda.
As per the statement, the rally was flagged off by SSP Doda Abdul Qayoom-JKPS and it culminated after covering the whole town by foot from Sports Stadium Doda and concluded at PS Doda in which the officers /officials of District Police /IRP/SSB/CRPF/Home Guard/Forest Protection Force besides students of various Schools of Doda town participated.

While interacting the rally participants, SSP Doda briefed them for the purpose of organizing this event which is mainly aimed to pay tribute to the Veers who have made the supreme sacrifice for the sake of nation and gave up their today for our tomorrow.
The Rally concluded with refreshment to the participating officers/officials of District Police Doda/IRP/SSB/CRPF/Home Guard /Forest Protection Force and students.
Among other officers /officials of District Police Doda Shakeel Rehman Addl. SP Hqrs Doda, Jaswant Singh Dy.SP Hqrs Doda, Susheel Kumar Dy.SP DAR Doda, Inspector Arun Parkash Sharma SHO PS Doda were also present.
