JAMMU: Special team of Economic Offences Wing, CB Jammu (Crime Branch Jammu) on Tuesday apprehended absconder accused – Mukesh Aggarwal son of Chhitramal resident of Lane No. 07-10 Mohit Nagar, Extension Opposite Wadiya Institute Dehradun, Utrakhand from Rajasthan in case FIR No. 10/2013 U/S 420,465,467,468,471, 120-B/RPC r/w 5/2 PC Act SVT 2006 P/S Crime Branch Jammu.

The absconder was constantly evading his arrest by changing his locations outside the UT of J&K. He was on a run since last 02 years and the Court had issued warrant U/S 512 Cr.PC against him for his arrest after charge sheet was produced against him by Crime Branch Jammu.
The arrest of the accused was required by CB Jammu to bring the culprit to justice. The CB Jammu planned, chased and arrested the absconder from Rajasthan in coordination with Rajasthan Police, brought him to Jammu and produced him before the Court of law.
Economic Offences Wing Crime Branch Jammu arrested 5 absconders in last 8 weeks.
