KULGAM: Jammu Kashmir Police (JKP) along with Indian Army (1 RR) on Friday busted grenade throwing terror module by arresting four terrorist associates in Kulgam district and recovered arms and ammo from their possession.
As per the release, on 24-05-2022, a grenade was hurled on police party at main chowk Yaripora, however the grenade missed the intended target and exploded in the crowd nearby in which 13 persons got injured.

In this connection, a case FIR No. 24/2022 under relevant sections of law was registered in Police Station Yaripora and investigation of the case was set into motion.
During the course of investigation Kulgam Police jointly with 1RR, arrested four terrorist associates/conspirators namely:-
- Nasir Nabi Dar S/O Ghulam Nabi Dar R/O Gundchahal, Frisal.
- Aaqib Majid Ganie S/O Abdul Majid Ganie R/O Badroo, Yaripora.
- Mohd Abass Dar S/O Abdul Ghani Dar R/O Gundchahal, Frisal and
- Zahid Ali Bhat S/O Ali Mohd Bhat R/O Kokergund, Yaripora, their involvement in the said crime is established.
Security Forces recovered a Pistol, two Pistol Magzines, One Hand grenade and 14 Pistol rounds. Accordingly all four have been formally arrested in the case and further investigation of the case is going on.
