RAMBAN: Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) on Friday have seized 32 Bottles f Illicit Liquor during checking at Checkpoint near Shan Palace NH44 in Ramban district.
As per the police, during Naka checking at Naka Shan Palace NH44 Ramban one Swift car bearing registration number DL2CAP-5213 driven by driver namely Khursheed Ahmed Mir son of Habibullah Mir resident of Kadi Pura Tehsil and Distt Anantnag was coming from Ramban towards Kashmir valley was signaled for checking.

After seeing the police party at Naka Shan palace, he tried to escape but the alert police party apprehended him and during checking of his car, 32 Bottles of Old Adventure illicit liquor were recovered from the said car.
In this connection, a case FIR No 173/2023 U/S 48 (a), Excise Act has been registered at PS Ramban and an investigation of the case is going on.
