Stop Terrorism, Dismantle Terror Launch Pads: Rajnath Singh Warns Pakistan

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh issued a strong warning to Pakistan, urging it to end its support for terrorism and destroy terror launch pads operating across the border. His remarks underscore India’s firm stance on safeguarding national security and combating cross-border terrorism.

Singh emphasized that sustainable peace in South Asia hinges on Pakistan’s willingness to act decisively against terror groups that operate with impunity from its soil. Citing India’s readiness to respond firmly to any threats, he reiterated the country’s zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism.

This statement gains significance in light of increasing infiltration attempts and intelligence reports indicating heightened terror activities along the Line of Control (LoC). India has repeatedly called on Pakistan to cease supporting extremist groups such as Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), which have been linked to several attacks in India.

In the past, India has demonstrated its resolve through decisive actions, including the 2016 surgical strikes and the 2019 Balakot airstrike, targeting terror infrastructure in Pakistan. These measures send a clear message that India will not hesitate to defend its sovereignty and security.

On the global front, India continues to push for international cooperation against terrorism, urging entities like the United Nations and the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) to hold Pakistan accountable for harboring terror networks.

Rajnath Singh’s warning reflects India’s broader strategy of reinforcing internal security while exerting diplomatic and strategic pressure on Pakistan to deter future acts of aggression. This stance aims to pave the way for a more stable and peaceful South Asia.
