Simran Singh, a 26-year-old former radio jockey and social media influencer widely recognized as “Jammu Ki Dhadkan,” was tragically found hanging in her rented flat in Gurgaon’s Sector 46 on Wednesday evening. Known for her engaging content shared with her 684,000 Instagram followers, Simran’s passing has left many shocked and heartbroken.
According to Gurgaon Sadar police, Simran had locked herself in her room since morning. Concerned flatmates broke open the door around 8:30 PM after she failed to respond to their calls, texts, and knocks. They found her hanging from the ceiling fan and rushed her to a nearby private hospital, where she was pronounced dead around 10:30 PM.
The hospital authorities alerted the police. Inspector Sunil Kumar confirmed that an autopsy was conducted, and the body was handed over to her family after following due legal protocols. Forensic teams examined the room, but no suicide note was recovered.
Authorities are awaiting forensic and post-mortem reports to ascertain the circumstances surrounding her untimely demise. Her family and followers remember her as a vibrant and talented individual who touched many lives with her presence and work.
