DODA: In order to take the appraisal of the various health programmes in the district, the CMO Doda (Chief Medical Officer), Dr Ab Hamid Zargar convened a meeting of all Dental Surgeons working in the District, to review the healthcare services being provided by the department to the people in the district.
At the outset, the CMO took review of the block wise performance and work done of each Dental Surgeon and indicator wise achievement performed and discussed the deficiencies with the participants.

The Chief Medical Officer directed the Dental Surgeons to put in extra efforts to achieve targets laid down under the programme. Special emphasis was laid on to boost the school health programme and generation of awareness programmes among students in schools and communities about health, dental hygiene besides oral health. He asked for focusing on efficiency delivery of health services in all health institutions to facilitate the public.
CMO also enjoined upon all the BMOs to see implementation of all health programmes on the ground and benefits should reach the end user without any difficulty.
He also advised the staff to perform their duties with utmost dedication and provide better patient care to the people coming to the health institutions.
The participants also raised some of their grievances before the chair, to which assurance was given to them that all their genuine grievances shall be taken due care of for their timely redressal.
