Youth Congress came out in support of Women Wrestlers

HIRANAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Youth Congress on Tuesday has also extended its support to the wrestlers protesting against BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh at Jantar Mantar in Delhi.

As per the statement issued here, the Youth Congress protested by burning posters and took out a march. The protest was led by Romi Sharma, vice-president of the JK Youth Congress. Indian Youth Congress Secretary and Incharge J&K Navneet Kaur was mainly present in the demonstration.

Vice President Romi Sharma said that the BJP government is doing injustice to the players protesting in Delhi. He said that protests have been going on at Jantar Mantar for several days demanding the arrest of BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan, accused of sexual exploitation.

He said that till the women players of the country do not get justice, they will continue to protest in their support. He said that injustice towards women will not be tolerated in this country at all.

Manish Sharma, Kewal Jasrotia, Sushil Sharma, Sethi Chowdhary, Gopal Sharma, Ajay Singh, Shanti Verma etc. were included in the demonstration.
