JAMMU: Government Degree College (GDC) R S Pura on Tuesday organized an awareness rally to aware citizens about G-20 Presidency from College premises to main market in R S Pura area of Jammu district in which both students and faculty members participated.
As per release, the rally was organized under the banner of G-20 Presidency and AKAM and patronage of Prof Rajni Bhagat, Principal of the College.
The Event was conducted under the supervision of Prof Jai Mala Thakur, Department of Sociology and Prof Swati and Prof. andeep Kumari of Department of Education.

The theme of the rally was ‘One Earth, One Family, One Future’. The rally was flagged off by Dr Preetpal Kour, Associate Professor HOD Zoology. About 40 students participated in the rally.
Both faculty members and students interacted with the shopkeepers and other citizens of R S Pura to spread awareness and message of India’s G-20 presidency.
Other faculty members viz Prof Shifali Abrol, Dr Savtanter Kour, Dr Kiran Pathania, Prof Ahsan Ahmed, Prof Rakesh Choudhary, Dr Arief Mohd and Dr Puja Sharma were present in the event.
