BHADERWAH: Weekly Block Diwas on Wednesday held at Bhalla block of district Doda to redress the grievances of people.
The locals participated in today’s Block Diwas to project their demands and issues of public importance before the officers of different departments. PRI members raised issues of public importance and demanded their early redressel.
Today’s event was chaired by ADC Bhaderwah Chowdhary Dilmir who listened to the participants. The government officers provided various services and listened to the grievances and demands of people. They resolved many issues on the spot pertaining to their respective departments. PRI members and Local participants projected various demands before ADC , who assured them of early redressal.

Today’s program was attended by Tehsildar Bhalla, BDO Bhalla, ExEn I&FC, AEE Jal Shakti, AEE R&B and representatives of various other departments viz Forest, Floriculture, Horticulture, Agriculture, RDD, Fisheries , Revenue and others were present.
The PRI members and locals demanded construction and black topping of all roads in Bhalla block. The demand of drinking water supply to every village and electrification of all villages was also projected by the locals and PRI members. Registration of forest land to the occupants under Forest Rights Act was also demanded by the concerned participants.
ADC and the officers of concerned departments listened to them patiently and assured them early redressel of their grievances.
