KATHUA: Govt Degree College (GDC) Kathua on Tuesday felicitated Neha Kumari – a student of Semester VIth Science stream for been selected as speaker for the event to be held in Parliament on May 09, 2023.
She will speak on Guru Rabindranath Tagore on May 09, 2023 in the remembrance of Rabindranath Tagore. She was the only student from Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory who was selected to represent the college and UT of JK.

She was felicitated by Principal, GDC Kathua Prof Seema Mir in presence of senior faculty members including Prof Anirudh Sharma, Prof Jaswinder Singh, Prof Rakesh Singh, Dr Pankaj Gupta; Dr Jogbinder Soodan, Prof Seema Mir congratulated Neha Kumari and encouraged her for this rare achievement and fame for the college.
Neha Kumari while speaking on the occasion said that she has been selected by NYK as a speaker to speak on Guru Rabindranath Tagore in parliament after three level of competitions held at District Level, Zone Level and State level.
All faculty members present also appreciated her for big achievement.
