JAMMU: The Chairman of Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP), Ghulam Nabi Azad on Monday expelled the Ex MLA Haji Abdul Rashid from Primary membership of the DPAP.
The development in the DPAP was informed Indian Tribune News (ITN) by the general secretary of DPAP, R S Chib through a press release. It was stated in the release that Ex MLA Haji Abdul Rashid has expelled from the primary membership of the party for anti-party activities.

The actual reason expulsion was not shared by the DPAP.
Haji Abdul Rashid alongwith GM Saroori, Mohd Amin Bhat, Gulzar Ahmad Wani and Choudhary Mohd Akram tendered their resignations from the primary membership of the Congress “in support of Ghulam Nabi Azad” on August 26, 2022 and later joined DPAP.
