DODA: The LPEF Doda (Low Paid Employees Federation) on Tuesday condoled the demise of Dr Tariq Masood, prominent social figure of district, retired District Health Officer and Chief Advisor – Young Star Cricket Club Doda, who passed away on Saturday after suffering massive cardiac arrest.
As per statement issued here, the deceased was ailing since last two years and lost the battle of life on Saturday at ASCOMS Hospital Jammu at the age of 60 years.
On Dr Masood demise, the members of LPEF expressed grief and sorrow and conveyed deepest condolences to the bereaved family.
Terming him as a noble soul, a dedicated officer and promising cricketer of his time, Dr Tariq rendered a long period of his service in the health department, who lived all his life in helping people belonging to down trodden section of the society, a thinker that has left a great void which cannot be filled.

The members prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and patience to the bereaved family.
